Yet another Day 21 test query

I had a day 21 test done last week and spoke to a doctor (not the original one I saw who ordered the test) over the phone for the results. She said I had low luteinising hormone, and recommended referral to fertility clinic (age 35, ttc 10months).
Anyway, I came off the phone and realised I had forgotten to ask about my progesterone levels (and she never mentioned it) - I thought that was the whole point of the test??? I had also asked was is worth repeating the test and she said no. Have to get DH to go to his doctor to get a semen analysis done then go see my (original) doctor together, to discuss further (will most likely to be referred).
I'd like to know a bit more about the breakdown of my bloods, so phoned surgery again today, but have to wait to speak to a doctor/have a phone consultation, which won't be until Monday now. What questions should I be asking (want to get is right this time!)? I would go see my doctor about it but can't get an appoinment with her until the 21st!
Is it normal to refer on just one test? And I'm a bit dubious now as to whether the doc I spoke to on the phone knew what she was on about (I'm sure she's a competent GP, but...), as she talked about LH and never mentioned my progesterone results! Confused

I'd guess the progesterone was fine then but it is worth following up to check. I got a full printout of my blood test results from the reception.

I was referred after blood tests on day 3 and 21 plus a semen analysis for my husband. The gynae then referred us for more tests (rubella immunity check, internal ultrasound and HSG for me, repeat SA for my husband). That seems pretty standard from what I have read on here.

BTW, I am also 35 and on my 10th cycle of properly trying to conceive (we took a somewhat laissez faire attitude to contraception for a couple of years before that but were not trying to hit the fertile days, IYSWIM).

day 21 is usually just the progesterone i thought? day 3 bloods do the LH and FSH and i think also TCH, prolactin and rubella immunity. The LH and FSH on day 3 should be similar numbers to each other (mine were 5 and 7, can't remember which way round though) and progesterone on day 21 is usually thought to be normal if it is over 30. At least this is what I was told. I had day 3 and 21 bloods and dp had a SA and then we were referred to our gynae at the hospital.
