Love the title for the new thread. I've been dutifully following whilst hosting my sis. I must say I have particularly high hopes for Maybe this month (and obviously everyone since you are all so obviously updiffed!)

biscuits I think you should pimp up the segways, you could add a hook for your glittery vom bucket, some go faster stripes, a tray for nibbles and a cup holder for your drinks.
How are you feeling? Are you having fun with your sis down?

Oooh like the ideas for the Segway.

Sis went home today - had a nice time but feel wiped out now - looking forward to a nice quiet day tomorrow Smile

I'm feeling fine - not massively pg actually (eeek). Tummy growing but not much in the way of nausea or anything (sorry Dream incidentally to ready about your vomming). On the one hand that makes me a lot bit nervous when maybe i should just be enjoying it? 12 week scan is 3 weeks tomorrow and am hoping I get there without any incidents etc - just a matter of finger crossing (and brooking of course).

So I think I will hook a glittery bucket on but more in case someone else needs one Smile

Hi, I made it through due to the high tech link ninja. I'm very impressed and not even going to ask how you did it, I'm sure I wouldn't understand... I re-read your post on the ttc theme on the old thread. You are a wise person indeed.

maybe, more vomiticious feelings? How could you not be pregnant! Will be sticking around for your BFP. September you say? Crap!!! I'm going on hol for nearly 2 weeks on Sunday, with probably no internet. How oh how will I cope if I don't know by then?!?

me! me! for the hook on the segways for my glittery vom bucket.

My glittery bucket is your glittery bucket Dream Grin

Never mind how you'll manage without this thread - how will we manage without you for 2 weeks

Report
Biscuitsandtea · 25/08/2011 21:43

Also, in 2 weeks, you'll have missed literally 20 or so whole threads they fill up so fast. We'll leave a trail of cake crumbs for you to follow Wink

Loving the new thread, glad I could find it easily( has flashback to childhood when parents moved house while I was at school and I couldnt remember where!) let's hope the change of venue doesn't affect all our BFPs!

Report
NinjaChipmunk · 25/08/2011 21:50

should i leave out some trays of multivits too?

I hope not wants there's not been a no brooking thread without a bfp and there won't be one on my watch! We are all pregnant, some of us are just more pee stick endorsed than others.

Ooooooo very nice! Many thanks to Ninja for the lovely new home and the peach bellinis - yum! Clearly these are No Brooking Bellinis, which taste exactly like real bellinis and yet have no negative impact on our pregnancies. Which is lucky because I really need a drink right now!

I'm hugely impressed with Jaggy's pee stick self restraint! I just want to do one last CBD tom... and then I'm done! I'll be locking up my pee sticks and waiting anxiously for my 8 week scan instead!

Bartlet I'm so sorry to hear that you're ill!! That sounds horrible you poor thing Hope you feel better soon. I'm impressed with your dedication to the SWI cause!! If only all our partners were as dedicated!! Your ironic BFP is in the bag!

I completely agree with all the comments so far about those irritating pg women who are constantly rubbing their bellies whilst simultaneously gazing around smugly. It's like people who love excessive public displays of affection: really do you honestly believe you're the only person in the whole world who's ever had a boyfriend!?! Whether you're coupled up or single, and whether you're pg or ttc, those people are just crazy-making!!! (I bet they're the same people in both cases!)

Where oh where is Baby?! I really thought she would slip her BFP in before the end of the last thread!

Loving the pimped up Segway by the way Ninja! I've got black stripes on a red segway, with a bright red glittery vom bucket hooked on. Now that I have a cupholder as well I might as well take a bellini for the road! Thanks!

Pimped segways, brilliant idea Ninja

Biscuits! We have missed you! Hope it's lovely having sis down, have you told her the news?

Dream maybe I can send you some kind of smoke signal if I somehow manage to swing a BFP. Or semaphor? Where are you off too? Somewhere nice I hope.

Scream what time is your appointment tomorrow? All will go well of course. I hope you inform your midwife that you have been brooking no argument.

The search is over!! I'm back Wink
Sorry for the absence I have indeed been working rubbish shifts. Have just got home after starting work at 07:30, but have least got a day off tomorrow.
I'm sorry to say I don't have any news, AF is not due from today. I have done a few tests, all BFNs. I have been having some mild cramps today.

I had a bit of a down moment as have been exposed to lot of official Preggos in RL over the past few days. My DH cheered me up though by reminding that every month we get closer to our BFP & as we are brooking no arguement whatsoever it will be in 4 weeks or so Wink

Maybe I agree things sound very pee stick positive in your house!

Sorry for a me me me post, am going to grab a cup of tea and read what I've missed in the past few days. I'll be back in a few hours.

Loving the idea of rat smacker smoke signals Maybe Grin

My appointment is at 9 a.m. tomorrow, which is great because I wouldn't be able to get on with any revision until afterwards anyway! Dreading what he's going to say about my weight [gulp emoticon] but glad for a chance to ask all my questions (nearly an entire A4 page of them - he's going to love me, right? Grin )

It's my very first appointment so it's with my GP, the super exciting first midwife appointment (which apparently just duplicates all the same questions as my GP will ask me tomorrow!) isn't until 8 weeks or so. The independent midwife I spoke to earlier this week said I might as well let my GP book in a nhs mw appointment as normal, wait until my 12 week scan is booked, and THEN cancel the mw appointment. Apparently if you tell them upfront you don't need any nhs mw appointments they get all confused and don't book you in for any blood tests or scans either!

Oooooo I don't know how we're all going to hang on until Sept for all the self-evident pregnancies to be formally confirmed!

BabySade! Glad to have you back!

Sorry to hear the evil pee sticks are still being so difficult! It's not over until the evil witch cackles, so I still have my fingers crossed for you this month - cramps can mean anything! I'm glad you have such a lovely DH though, he sounds absolutely perfect and he's clearly taking good care of you! Three cheers for Baby's DH!

YAY lovely shiny new thread, thanks Ninja!

Maybe way to go girl on your platinum medal, you are so going to get that BFP this month!

Bartlet yes my sister & I both thought cousin deserved a slap too! So sorry to hear about shingles and so glad to hear that it's not going to deter you!

So sorry to hear about the BFNs Baby but your AF hasn't arrived yet so....I hope it's not those bump rubbing preggos you've been exposed to!

The only thing I have to report is that DH is feeling a lot better today nudge, nudge, Wink, Wink

ok my embarrassing story.

my name is jaggy and last week i spilt pee on the floor, due to filling the pee tub up too much and not noticing. Blush (in my defence it was early in the morning)

it wasn't a lot but DH had to put the little Ikea rug from the bathroom through the wash. Blush Blush

bartlet sorry about the shingles, my mum had them a couple of years ago and i remember her being really sore. :(
