Different days for EWM appearance and Highs on OPK? Any ideas?

I get EWM a couple of days (generally day 10 /11 before the big go on the OPK sticks (generally day 13-14) - does this happen to anyone else? Any ideas what this means and what we should do from a SWI point of view? Usual cycle length is 27 days approx. Should I depend on the EWM instead?

That sounds about right to me. EWCM - I get it 2/3 days before ovulation. I also think that OPKs are sometimes late in detecting the surge if at all. By the time it gets into your urine, and if you have ovulated 12 hours later (as opposed to 42) you may be actually ovulating by the time you see the surge.
So I would say DTD when you get EWCM onwards!

I'm the same and have been wondering about that - I have a Clearblue Fertility Monitor and I notice the EWCM 2/3 days before I get my 'egg sign' as well. I generally ov day 14-17 and my cycle is usually between 27-31 days.

We generally have sex every other day from day 10 until day 16
