Hi, I tracgically lost my baby boy at 22 weeks into my pregnancy at the end of April. My consultant is now trying to help my husband and I to concieve again. I have just had cycle tracking done and have got to day 21 with no evidence of ovulation.......they have also picked up that my uterus lining is very thin and irregular (have had 4 v.early mc so could explain why). They are suggesting provera followed by clomid.......has anyone else had any experience of this method who would be able to explain how it works?
Many thanks x

Hi I have taken clomid but not provera. My understanding is that provera induces a bleed and then clomid, the one I do know about!, helps stimulate egg production. It increases your levels of FSH so you get properly mature eggs and some drs will also give you an hcg trigger shot to help ovulation.

I am sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon with more info for you.

I am sorry to hear about your mcs and I hope clomid does the trick for you Smile
