Hello!
Never posted on this board before so I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes or messing with the etiquette ;-)
Bit of background: I have an almost 3yo son & since having him my periods have been much heavier, more frequent & not as regular.
We decided to start trying for a 2nd bub about 6mths ago at which point I started using a period tracker app on my phone. I'd decided I wasn't going to go down the temperature taking etc route just yet as, tbh, I stressed myself out doing that massively the 1st time.
Anyway, my last cycles have been 28, 26, 32, 27, 24, 25 & it's calculated my average cycle as being 25 days.
CD1 was 15/06 & I got some bleeding from 24-26/06 (CD10-12) which I've never had before although the past couple of mths I've had some pinky brown discharge at about the same point in my cycle. When I googled the bleeding (as you do!) it mentioned it being a possible sign of ovulation so DH & I duly got jiggyjiggy! ;-)
So now I find myself 6 days late (CD31) according to my period tracker but the irregularity of my periods is making me incredibly reluctant to test yet.
I want this so SO badly that I think a BFN will break me right now.
I have crampy period type pains (but very low down) & low back pain as if AF is going to arrive but I remember having these when I got pg before. My boobs also seem a little bigger, I feel bloated, 'tight' across the stomach & swollen & I almost constant indigestion but this has been for about 7 days now.
I really REALLY don't want to get my hopes up but what do you all think I should do?
Sorry it's such a long first post, thanks for reading x
