Hi all!

I've just fell off the March bus last night and feeling Sad. There is another bus for April but I didn't see any familiar names on it and I know a few old friends fell off the March bus so I thought I'd start my own bus (first one I've really started!)

So I'm handing round the Wine and Biscuit and sitting at the back 'til AF
buggers off finishes her lovely visit!

First question of the month. Clear Blue Ovulation sticks? Are they worth it? Should I go for an expensive Clear Blue fertility monitor - or are they a waste of money? Hmm

Hey Byrnsie, sorry to see you on another bus, I've been hanging round the March bus as everyone was so lovely and didn't want to leave them!

Not sure if I'm doing buses anymore, getting fed up with everyone getting their BFP's and me going off to the next bus - I sound like a bitter old crone, sorry, I am happy for you all, just having a tantrum, stamping my feet and whining when's it my turn?

So was thinking maybe I'm not meant to be a mummy when DH announces he is quitting his job. Those who know me have probably twigged from the perpetual moaning that he works away, so thrilled he is coming home but worried financially - no way we can have a baby until he has a secure job.

Therefore I shall not be joining your bus but lurking at the back eating your Biscuit, drinking your Wine and cheering you all on in your BFP's :)

Hey Lilliana I'm so glad you posted and I'm sorry you're feeling down. I am sure you are supposed to be a mum and hubby coming home has to be a good thing! I'm sure in a few months time things will be looking up and you'll wonder what all the worry was about.

A few friends and family members have told me that
if you wait til you can afford kids and are ready to have them then no one ever would!
So I hope you don't give up. I enjoy your company on here so hop aboard!

I decided to order CB ov stick and some Preseed - this months new things to try!!!

Stats are as follows:

Now question time, after i stop bleeding can we just go stright to TTC after my CP? will i count from first day of this bleed? argghhh confused!

Good luck everyone have everything crossed for this month Smile

Hi all - here's to April babies then... Smile

Byrnsie30 (30) ttc #1 CD2 (of poss 31-34)OV: 20-23 July-ish AF: 6th Aug-ish
Imustnecrazy26 (26) ttc#2 af 1st Aug-ish
MorningCoffee (29) TTC#3 af due 1st Aug ish
Poppyjen (29) TTC#2 AF due 11th August (ish - will update when ov)

Morning I was told after my mc that as long as I had a BFN I could ttc straight away. I used first day of bleeding as CD1 as it lasted the same length as normal AF (was just heavier Sad )

CD2 here, taking Agnus Castus again this cycle as did so last time and UCL reduced from 55 to 38 days so hoping for more of the same. The earlier ov the better as I am away without DH for 2 weeks at the end of July/beginning of August...

Feeling much more positive today, yesterday I just felt like throwing the towel in completely and sticking with one DC but I think that was just general AF grumpiness. Back to charting and OPKs for me Smile - this is my 5th bus so have everything crossed that it will actually get me to my destination this time!

Hey all and welcome,

So glad to see some familiar names and new ones too.
Morningcoffee I have had 2 chems. The first one at the end of Jan (we waited til I had another 'normal period' which came the following month, then tried after that). The second we just cracked right on with ttc as soon as bleeding had stopped (I counted first day of bleed as CD1 and was just like a normal AF for me too) The second was at the beginning of May, so I wasn't too suprised not to concieve in June!

I completely agree with your 2 rules Coffee although I have found OV testing has helped me not to obsess too much!

I see I am the only one at the mo ttc #1 so I am amongst experienced mums, which is nice - I shall be seeking lots of advice!

Anyway, can't wait to get started again when AF finishes! Smile

Hi ladies I hope you don't mind if if I convince the driver the pause a while whilst I have a quick natter, know I'm not allowed on the bus but I missed you guys from last month and wondered how you are getting on!

Lil, really pleased to hear you will be seeing more of DH! Oh here's hoping that sods law will get you, and when its most inconvenient for you to get pg you will do- but it would give DH 9 months to find a new job. At least he will be around for when you do ovulate!

Morning so peed off for you but wanted to remind you that I had chem pg last month and this month got bfp again. And I saw doc yesterday and he agrees that it is a new pg so I'd say jump back on...

Hello all Smile, thought I'd jump on my first bus and hope for some good luck! I can't add everyone stats as on the app which won't let me copy and paste I'm afraid.

I'm 32 and TTC our first, although himself has a DD, so at least we know he has the goods Wink

I've just come off the pill after 16 years (!) and am currently on CD9, but have no idea how long til AF is due (25th July maybe?). I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries when I was 15 (hence being put on the pill for medical reasons). Apparently the cysts had shrunk when I had a scan about 10 years ago, so I'm hoping they wont be back to cause a problem now I've stopped...

Looking forward to some BFPs for us allGrin

Welcome floydie - another ttc #1 like me - yay! I've added you to stats!

I had another meltdown today, second of this week. I'm normally not a crier, but just getting overwelmed by ttc - this is cycle 7 (although was on pill for 10 years so suppose it might take a while!)

Hi Reallea, nice to see you. Stop our bus anytime for a catch up - would love to know how you're getting along (and please tell us where do you go when you leave the conception buses?! Always wondered as never made it!)

You could be right about sods law so will wait and see and quietly cross my fingers (See much more positive today :) )

I'm ttc#1 Byrnsie so will join you in the novice seats, been TTC since last March - can't even keep count of how many cycles that is. Sorry to hear you're having a bad day though, I have had to step back a bit as all got too much, you're more than welcome to pm me and have a good moan anytime x

Hi mozzamo and floydie, nice to have you on the bus.

Morning Coffee lovely to see you again (in the nicest of ways I wish you weren't here and all had worked out but it will be ok.)

Right time to hand round the Wine, pate, soft cheese, rare steak and anything else we won't be able to eat in a few weeks ;)

Morning all,

Glad to see we're getting quite a few early passengers!
Think I counted wrongly on cycle front - it's 9 since I came off pill but only going into cycle 6 of ttc!

Glad you're still posting Lilliana, join us on the stats again whenever you're ready! And another first timer like me!

Mozz don't worry about your age, we are all nervous ttcers regardless of age Smile

I'm at a BBQ this weekend and will be able to eat/drink without fear!

My CB 20 ov tests arrived today. along with pre-seed. The tests only set me back £21.49 from Amazon, as opposed to £40 in Boots! I've had some good savings with Amazon!

Afternoon everyone what lovely weather Hmm

Hope everyone is well & thank you for all your kind words and reassurance it does help, i think my bleeding is now tailing off but to top it off i had D&V last night and not feeling to great today Sad

Although i feel very positive am not sure if i should do OV tests or just go with the flow this month?

Amazon are really good with there prices I always use them for things you do seem to save money rather than going to boots.

Hope this will make you feel a little better Mozzamo I am almost ancient (according to my niece!) and this is my first.
As some of you have said I can also enjoy the party I have next week now without worrying about what to eat and drink.

Hi, feeling more positive as there is a perfect job going for DH 10 mins up the road and we're going to look round Sunday so fx. Slightly concerned as his wife apparently knows me and I have no clue who she is so going to have to do a little research and find out how!

Thanks Byrnsie, I'll keep yapping away as like you lot but prob won't join the stats (yet!). Don't think we have much chance anyway this month as due to ov in the middle of the week [hsad]

Morning all,

Glad you're feeling more positive Lilliana and fx for DH's new job - I knew things would start looking up for you [hgrin] - I also wanted to try the wizard smilies!

Welcome to your first bus mersea, grab a Wine and make yourself comfy!

Glad you're feeling a bit better morning - sorry you've had such a tough time, but you're coming out the other side of it now. As far as OV testing goes, I don't know. I was told by a doc that after m/c or chem you can still show as PG on tests for a while afterwards (not sure how long for) and I also heard being PG can affect OV tests so don't know if these 2 pieces of info combined would mean that OV testing might not be accurate after a chem/mc?!! I'm sure that has just added more confusion to the whole thing - soz [hconfused]

According to CB ov tests I should start testing on CD6 which is tomorrow. Although, having looked at FF and another online ov calculator I don't reckon I'll get a smiley for another week, but I'm going to follow the instructions to the letter as anything is worth a try!

Another newbie bus-er here.

Posted a thread yesterday about being a lurker prior to actually TTC. But after several "accidental" oops-forgot-about-contraception moments this week, and a heart to heart with DH last night...we've both admitted we really want another one. So we're throwing caution to the wind, figuring we have a min of 8mo to get all our ducks in a row.

It also just so happens that I'm around OV [hgrin] so we'll see what happens this month. I've not been paying any attention to my cycles since DD (almost 2) was born, so I'm really not sure when AF is due. Around her birthday (25th) I think.

So that's me:

Welcome cosmicmouse- I love the name! I've added your stats to our ever growing list. What does 8mo mean? [hconfused]

Hope everyone else has had a lovely weekend! I made a mistake saying my ov testing should start today - that only applies if you have a 23 day cycle apparently!!! I re-read CB instructions and reckon I should start testing about Friday! That's based on a 28 day cycle. Mine have varied between 30-35, but I don't want to miss my surge so thought I'd start testing a little earlier!!

Ramble over. TTFN!! [hwink]
