Will my short luteal phase sort itself out??!

Hi,

With TCOYF as my bible, I've just started charting (been TTC for a few months) and have discovered that my luteal phase is 7 days (or 7 high temps, if that's the same thing). I came off the pill 8 months ago, so wondering if I'm still getting back to normal after this, or whether I need to get myself to the doctor.

Advice/ similar experiences much appreciated! Smile

It can take a while to get back to normal, but also there are lots of things you can try to lengthen it. Theres a thread on here called the short luteal phase gang or something similiar, have look, im sure they can suggest some alternative things to lengthen it out a bit x

Hi lebkucken
I am part of the aforementioned 'short luteal phase gang'! Sounds to me like your body is still sorting itself out. I haven't been on the pill for years so don't have that excuse unfortunately, but two doctors and two fertility consultants I have seen have said that I shouldn't worry too much about it. I think the jury's still a bit out on the whole thing though.
Am taking Clomid to see whether it helps x
