My husband and i are trying for a baby, my last period was 2 weeks ago and was slightly early. I noticed a brownish discharge yesterday - could this be implantation bleeding or is too early? i was also sick on thursday for no apparent reason - the day i think i ovulated! im feeling very tired and having some cramps

Sorry what do you want help with?
Yes it could be implantation though personally I've had three and never noticed anything. It's too early for a pregnancy to cause sickness though being all keyed up about a pregnancy might do that. If you are tired go to bed for a nap. Take dh with you and have another shot at the baby thing Smile
If you are worried about miscarrying - well again it is way too early to say that and tbh you could drive yourself crazy. Wait till your period is due, if it is late then do a test but don't beat yourself up thinking you might be pg now and have lost the pregnancy. That way total madness lies!

I'm not worried about miscarrying. I have never had any kind of spotting or bleeding between periods before and just wondered if anyone had any ideas what it could be.

Do you still have the brownish discharge now or was it just the once when you wiped yourself, as you say your last period was 2 weeks ago does suggest you could have ovulated and so it may be implantation, but you wont really know for another few weeks when your next period would be due.

I've no idea what you want help with. If you ovulated Thursday it's possible implantation could have been yesterday but the usually quoted time is 3 - 7 days after implantation, so it would be v early. There is nothing you can do until a few days before your period (or preferably when your period is due), when you can POAS and test.

Just try to calm down a bit or you will drive yourself crazy!

It is possible it could be implantation bleeding but you really wont know untill your period is due hun.
They say you get cramps with implantation, altho i didnt.
Not too sure about sickness though?
See how the discharge goes and how long it lasts for FX for you x

Oh come on! You title your post 'Help!!' so other posters including myself pick up our skirts and hare over here to see what's up. Your OP is not totally clear as to your concern and in any case at your stage there are so many variables involved that a definate answer of any sort is impossible. Don't therefore get huffy with people when they tell you to calm down a bit - tis' good advice!

Thank you shellmc for the advice i will keep an eye on it and see how it goes! and as for northernlurker i wasnt asking for a definite answer but i was curious (not worried so therefore dont need to calm down!) about what this bleeding is as i have never had it before - sorry for wasting your time

I thought implantation bleeding was meant to be a tiny amount and only for one or two days max, but I haven't had it so i'm not sure. It would be around the right time, if not slightly early, for implantation but only time will tell. Good luck, fingers crossed for you!

Sorry to read you've been getting a bit of grief!

Try not to worry about a bit of bleeding. As ShellMC said, might be implantation, and it's not abnormal to get spotting during your cycle. It's quite common.

But if you don't get a BFP, and it keeps going, then mention to your GP next time you're in.
