OK, period due in 2 days. Was sure I could feel her coming on. Did a test just now. Clearblue Digital with Conception Indicator. It says PREGNANT 1-2 weeks!!!!

2 Questions:

  1. How likely is it the test is wrong?

  1. How much worth is this test telling me 2 days before period is due, I'm pregnant? I mean in relation to chemical pregnancies...

Sorry, if this is all a little confused, I'm in shock. I did not expect the test to say 'pregnant'. I'm oever the moon, getting married in 3 days, just worried how real it all is...

False positives are very rare.

Try not to worry too much about chem preg. It can happen of course but there is nothing you can do, so congratulations. Have a great wedding and an enjoyable pregnancy.

Looks like you won't be drinking much champagne at your wedding.

:o

My friend did 4 tests, all positive then waited for the confirmation from doc before really believing it.

hey mrsH - congratulations! The test can't be 'wrong' per se, as it is picking up on levels of hcg which wouldn't be in your blood if you weren't actually pregnant. You can't really have a false positive.

As for cp - well, lots of women test a few days early and are absolutely fine and have successful pregnancies. People even have bleeds and successful pregnancies. You just have to keep hoping that you're one of the lucky ones!

Hope the wedding is fab.
