Last thread was here

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (It just takes longer to get in the mood

Signing in!

Baby2b how have you managed to have a scan at only 8 weeks? Envy Glad all is OK and you've seen heartbeat.
Am Confused at NHS and how antenatal care varies from area to area. Some people seem to get weekly attention from the word go and others (ie here in Herts) you get a 12 week scan if you're lucky!

Eskarina, I paid for this scan to put my mind at rest. I have booked docs for fri to be referred to midwife. Been told Kingston hospital is already full for aug so I should investigate which other hospital I would prefer Shock

Hello, can I join in?

The 'pant snot' comment has had me giggling for ages!

I am 35 and TTC number 1. Trying since August, which I know isn't very long really but it feels like bloody ages. I think I need to chillax a bit!

Hello - found you on the new thread, obviously just caught the end of the old one. :)

Baby2b - that's great that you've seen the heartbeat and know all is ok. How far away are your other hospitals? It seems bizarre to me that you know this far ahead that you can't go to your nearest one.

Do stay with this thread Baby2b it's seems nice to have the graduates around giving advice. After all, otherwise us non-pg peeps are trying to give advice to each other. The blind leading the blind!!

What is viroid, if I may ask?

Welcome Cheeser and AuntieDoris (as opposed to Auntie Flo!!). More newbies!! They seem like a nice bunch on here. I'm also TTC no 1.

Cheeser - you must be in the midst of symptom spotting if you're due on in 5 days. ooo...what fun!! Tell us what you're imaging you've got at this stage!! Grin

God, I feel even more nervous now I have made the 'grads' list Confused

Welcome Cheeser and Doris!

B2B - I am 5+5. I thought I was 6+1 when I went for my scan on Monday but apparently you count from Embryo Transfer not Egg Collection! Opsy!

Cramp, nervous and in my little hypochondriac bubble!

Thanks for all the welcomes!

Got2dance Symptoms so far... are not very numerous. I had two or three days of REALLY sore/sensitive/tingling nipples last week, which I've never had before. I've been having quite a few pains today, which feel like normal PMT pains, but as I've never been pregnant I can't really tell the difference Confused. I haven't had my sore/heavy boob phase yet that I usually get around this time. Seem to be more thirsty than usual too, but haven't needed to go to the toilet more often which I've read can be an early symptom.

So, basically, I've no idea!! Not really expecting it to happen so soon, so trying not to get my hopes up too much. But every now and then, when I'm on my own I'll do a little excited 'whoop!'... Blush

Ohh, three new newbies in one afternoon. at least when I FINALLY manage to let go and move to the grad thread full time (it's soo quite in there - cause we're all still here Blush) I know that there'll still be plenty of madness going on in here Grin.
A big fat welcome to Got2Dance Cheeser and AuntieDoris. I wonder who's name I fuck up first to create a new accidental nickname, it's been a while...

Nickel as I jumped across to this lovely new thread you've made us I noticed your latest name variation, so i can safely say I landed in here having a ruddy good laugh Grin

Heard bump's heartbeat this afternoon and it's strong and steady. I'm a happy fatty Mummy this evening.

Cocktail anyone? I feel like celebrating.

Ohh Cheeser sounds promising. (we're rubbish at keeping things low key here. Have you noticed?)

G2D I meant to say, in answer to your question in the deep darks mists of time, someone was posting on their Iphone which predictive spelled girlies as viroids and it kind of stuck.

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 11/01/2011 19:47

Ohh heart beat. Lovely. Thanks for filling me in, lovely viroids!

I too liked Nickels name. Loving NMCB hiding her bump and DS...you do realise Nickel has her own DH >

Cheeser - definitely sounds promising. Keep us posted!!

Sorry, didn't mean to sound so dramatic, but it is time I moved my butt to the grad list.

Vallinna, I had nearly no symptoms until week 7. Hopefully u will be lucky and have hardly any :)

Congrats on scan nomore...can u make mine a virtual mojito Grin

Cheeser · 11/01/2011 20:11

Ohh G2D and Nomorechochbiscuits do you really think it sounds promising? Eeeeeeeeee!!!!!

I LOVE 'viroids'... predictive spelling is brilliant, I often have disasters. I texted my sister to see if she'd eat risotto and it come back as scrotum Confused Grin Lord knows how that happened.

Cheeser · 11/01/2011 20:12

oh yes nomore, congrats on scan! Ill have a caiprainha (I'm almost certain that's the wrong spelling but hey ho)

Report
NoMoreChocBiscuits · 11/01/2011 20:20

Didn't have scan, just 16 week MW appt and she listened in on bub with the doppler. Scan is in 2 weeks (and it turns out in the new hospital, way out of town Grr).

Cheeser no idea what goes in a caiprainha, so I'll just make it up as I go along Grin how strong do you like it? Wink

I know Nickel has her own DH (I mustn't have paid proper attention earlier as I thought it was Josie's DH with the 4am stiffie), but her name say's she turned to baby snatching. I like my babies and don't want to do MSness again, that's all. [girn]

Grin not girn. the number of times I nearly posted with a big gurn in the middle is frightning. Gurning is something very different to a grin.

I'm beginging to sound like I've already had a bottle of virtual vodka to myself!

Yes you are NMCB!! I've not had a drink since before Christmas... think it's the longest time I've never had a drink for since 17 Blush Strangely though I'm really not missing it, yet. I'm sure it'll come!

Nice work on the diffed drunkeness NoMore [gurn] Grin

I'm having a nice chilled evening of pizza eating, web surfing and nail painting as DH is out at the football with his brother. Bliss! I've been looking at houses as we're planning to move back home to Birmingham at some point this year, timing will depend on either mat leave or getting a new job (in which case TTC will take a break for a while) but I've had a lovely time looking at houses that would be lovely for children with nice gardens and big kitchens and extra bedrooms!

Mine's a cosmo please NMCB and strong as you like Wink
