I apologise because I know this has been asked before but I just couldn't find any relevant threads.

Yesterday I did an Asda hpt and I got a very very faint positive but it was after the 3 minute time rule and somewhere within 20 mins. Today I did a test first thing and got a line within 6 mins. The line is still faint but much stronger than yesterday

I'm really confused and don't know what to think because it tells you to read you rseult at 3 mins and don't read after 15 minutes. So what is this no man's land in between 3-15 minutes? Does a line count as positive if shown in that time. This is driving me crazy!!!

it trakes up to 3 mins or the result to show, and you should disregard after the 20/15 mins. so that was a bfp. congrats.

This means that you probably are pregnant but the hormones (that the preg test measures) are still getting going and not quite strong enough to show up.
To get a more concentrated sample don't have too much to drink and save a wee up for as long as poss- that way it'll have more hormones in it and you'll most likely get a proper positive.

call your cons now then you are pg. why do you need HCG injection? that could explain why line is quite faint.

I've had 3 miscarriages lissie. Consultant seems to be going through a process of elimination to find out what's wrong. He said next time I got pg I was to get HCG injections every week till 12 weeks

it was 4 years ago now. i struggled to conceive first time as i had 2 mc's and it took over a year to get pg each time. i then had dd1 in feb 08 and found out i was pg with dd2 in oct08. it was a real shock, was on the mini pill and breastfeeding.

Thanks Nurse47 I'll keep you updated. It's terrible to say but I get really pissed off at people who just get pregnant when they decide to. I'm trying hard not to be bitter but sometimes it's so difficult.

I'm so lucky to have my ds, he is the light at the end of my horrible ttc tunnel!
