A safe haven for those just off the mc rollercoaster and thinking about getting back on or are already on the TTC rollercoaster. Be warned these lovely ladies chat, and the thread moves lightening fast, but all are welcome to join in any time Smile

For those who have just mc'd, there is great info about your first cycle here

If you want to add yourself into the stats, just copy and paste the lot, change everyones CD (cycle day) if necessary and add yourself in.
WTF = first cycle after mc
WTTC = waiting to TTC
CD = cycle day
UCL = usual cycle length

Oh I like a good intro to a thread ... you certainly have some style MummyA

We are a bunch of November babies ... I am on the 22nd as well. I am going to try and hold out until the day after my birthday to test. If I know on my birthday I won't be able to keep it from my friends at the birthday dinner and I think I will want to hold this one a little closer to the chest for a while.

That is a huge great list now. Is there anyone who's been in MIA for a while that we think isn't coming back to the thread and wouldn't want to stay on? Also is there anyone else who ought to be MIA for a bit - some of the wttc names don't seem to have popped in for ages?

Getdown I was just looking at your chart. I'm not sure that temps can tell you about how much HCG is still in your system. HCG is produced by a burrowing embryo, it shows up in your urine but doestn affect your temps. Temps are only a guage of how much progesterone your body is producing (more after ov, less before) and sometimes the progesterone dips of at the start of an mc, so these could all be pre-ov temperatures on your chart. I know thats not particularly helpful as you really want some clue as to what is going on. If you are feeling brave you could try checking your cervix to see if it is open/high/soft. Are you already doing OPK's? Are they telling you anything?(if you are considering buying and havent yet you really will need the cheap Amazon ones. As others have said anything can happen in this cycle, so you will use lots!)

I agree Izzy, I havent seen these names in a really long time:

WTTC
sillyness
backonceagain
lemonsherbert
and ?KT which i think is a typo not a name
Lottiecrump
Loola2shu
cheepz

Can I make the radical suggestion that we delete the current MIA names? I know it caused a huge upset the last time it was suggested, but we are filling up 1000 messages in a couple of weeks because our stats list is so long.

Also PrettyVacant said she was taking time off TTC (until after xmas?) so perhaps she should be in WTTC ? And littlemiss has had BFP next to her name for quite few threads now. Does anyone know what happened to her?

getdown the only thing that measures hcg is a preg test unfortunately. Have you had a bfn yet? After m/c i wasted much cash on clearblue with conception indicator. After two weeks it was showing 1-2 weeks pregnant, a few days later it was showing negative. Wasted £13 but did show the levels going right down.
As mummyA says, the temps show progesterone. That does stay elevated when you are pregnant
Haven't gone back through the old thread to check details, but are you still in the WTF cycle waiting for AF? If so the only thing to do is get lots of very cheap opks and test daily.

Dachs I can see your list perfectly fine. I just remember a thread where someone posted a list from a MAC and all the numbers went haywire - been put off ever since. Once a decision is made on the list, I'll be brave and have a go.
MummyA always up for a bit of controversy and tidying up. At the very least it means some people delurk and give a wave and can be popped back on the list.

Maybe with the stats it might be worth a quick post in the other mc thread to let them know what's happening?

hello all
eeek, I've missed another whole volume.

This is in no way a flounce or a strop, but I'm going to bow out of the thread.

It was a TOTAL lifeline for me after my first MMC and indeed #2.

Not to say I still don't need the love and support that I know still flows abundantly! But you all talk too much Grin.

And although I am going to TTC again (awaiting recurrent test results) I'm sort of becoming resigned to the fact that I may not have another child, and that at 42 the shop may be closing... :(

All the very best to you all - may the BFPs be bountiful and healthy.
