Could you have ovulated really late? How long is your cycle usually?

As a rule I don't trust scans, I tend to think women know their bodies best. When you think of some of the things sonographers miss on scans when fetuses are bigger (ie missing limbs etc) then I think it is amazing we put such faith in them to determine the age of a fetus around 3cm long. Like every woman, every fetus is slightly different although they do tend to grow at a more or less than uniform rate at this point. If you are sure of your dates (as I was - I only had sex twice the month I conceived and once was literally just after my period finished - sorry TMI? Grin) then I would probably argue my point. 2.5 weeks is a big difference - especially if you go overdue and they won't induce you until you are 42 weeks (44.5 weeks by your dates).

With quite long cycles it is possible you ovulated right at the end!
Can you book a private scan? Maybe it would settle you a bit to get a second opinion?

i think its because my sickness has really dropped, and i usually have hyperemesis till 30 weeks

so lack of sickness plus tiny baby is just bothering me a bit!

Could you ask for some bloods to be done to check your levels?
I'm hope it's all ok- maybe you just got lucky with the sickness this time!
