Hi all,

Has anyone taken Maca supplement to help them with their conception? If so have you had any side effects?

I have taken Maca for about 3 weeks but have stopped now as AF was due 11 days ago but their is no sign, the only reason I can put it down to is taking Maca, as I am normally regular as clockwork. I've taken 3 pregnancy tests but all three are BFN. Confused :(

Thanks

Anne

Sorry Shyone1 Sad

Maca has helped me to concieve twice. You could set your watch by my periods, same as you. Taking the maca never made them waiver, but it made the very first one a bit odd - lingering &, well, different for me IYSWIM. It took a 2 months course to concieve the first time & 4 months (I think or maybe 3) the second time. We had been trying for around 5 years to get pregnant before I started taking it.

HTH

Where do you purchase this Macau supplement? What is so different about it compared to others out there? Finally, who recommended it to you guys? Smile

Hi - I got mine from iHerb in the US - they have very reasonable shipping rates to the UK, so not too expensive. You can get it in the UK easily enough as well, but I wanted a high strength capsule. Lots of places sell th raw powder to mix into food & smoothies, but I found the taste too bitter. It is meant to balance your hormones (not that mine were unbalanced IYSWIM - we had unexplained infertility). Both men & women can take it to enhance fertility. I found it on yet another looooong infertility googling session.
