I have the Air Hockey and Ping pong tables on order.
I thought it being the first day of term we should move in and make ourselves at home.

Sorry You can't come swimming, I'd brought a green flowery swimming hat for you too.

Cheepz I feel you with us, good luck with the move, wine kettle, craptop and chair are the best things to unpack first. Grin

Just feeling a bit whelmed with all the new peeps, I just want somewhere quiet to come every now and again.

God, Jolls you've brought back hideous memories of school swimming galas :)

I hope tis okay if I wander in here? I will sit quietly in the corner. I am finding it hard to keep up with the massivehooge thread.

Hello lovely grads, hope the puking is starting to wear off now :)

Cor, I like this common room much better than my old brown wood-pannelled walled one. :)

Clareanna - I'll bring the Take That posters, obv.

VivClicquot · 07/09/2010 09:53

Actually thinking back, my sixth form common room wasn't that wood-pannelled. There was an extension bit with breeze blocks, which one of the boys managed to wedge a plastic school chair high up onto the wall and then would sit on it, a la Liam Gallagher in the Live Forever video. Good times. :)

all grads most welcome to pop in... always nice to feel slim for a bit next to you fatties GrinWink

MrsPV I really don't have the knees for short skirts do I....?

Morning all. Stooopid phone-in on 5live this morning about fertility/childfreeness etc. Plus DS wobbly at nursery when I left him (dunno why, he's usually fine) and it would have been my dear old dad's birthday today. I still have boxes to unpack: every time I turn round another blimmin cat has done a poo or found another irritating place to sit or stretch out and shed fur.

Then DP asks which of the boxes/bags waiting to go to ILs for storage we won't need for sure in the next 9 months or so. "Well all the baby clothes and stuff, in fact we might never need those". Cue sobbing and sniffling. I'm NOT in a good place.

Except Sainsburys had G&B on offer and I stocked up on lots of bars. Might just hide under the duvet and eat them all.

Jolls my cat is driving me bananas, he's long haired & shedding fur everywhere (which also = fur sick balls Envy) Sorry you are feeling trousers :( I hope you have had a scoff on the G&Bs. Chin up hun (I don't want to sound patronising Blush) you WILL get there xxxxx

Blimey sixth form.......one of my teachers had THE worst BO on the planet. I did love it when I passed my driving test turning up to college in my first car with pull out stereo, giving everyone lifts in exchange for petrol money and smoking of course......LOL

Oooh, you want a Furminator, that's what you want. I furminated (new verb) our evil sheddy cat a few weeks ago and he hasn't barfed since. Tis blissful. It is like a nit comb for kitties.

Lassies, I met Tim Booth backstage at a gig in the Glasgow Barrowlands!! Handpicked by roadies to go backstage and by leched at by old men in the 40s and 50s rather than the band. Tim Booth was suitably appalled, especially when he realised we were underage and made sure we could get home alright.

Clare I often wonder why I didn't make more use of assests when I could. My figure was not too shabby back then and I was drowning in big t-shirts and also black skirts with tassles!

Gi1da its good to see you here pal, all the old gang back together. I used Bodyshop henna that you made into a honking green paste!

Not too early to be dancing; tis never too early for that if you are on hols.

God, life was easy at 17 wasn't it. Although they hadn't invented mobile phones then had they? Or the internet.
