Anyway scan went ok apparently everything looks a ok. But was stupidly expecting consultant to find a baby but am only 10 dpo. Not that I have been googling to find out if that is too early. Oh no not me....

Sits in the naughty corner with skirt hitched up.

Right, I'm posting my last one over here as well. Rah.

Umbongo - hope you're hanging in there. Sending lots of virtual chocolate and hugs. My friend felt the same as you - you get told that the baby you thought you were having isn't there anymore and then in the next breath they're giving you your 'options'. Her response was that she didn't want it out and she didn't want to wait - she just wanted it to be a baby and she couldn't get any further than that. So by default she waited and by the time it happened she was almost relieved. Very very sad though

Loujalou - definitely should be reference to sore bits. My bits are sore even thinking about how much SWI-ing we're going to be doing this month. Shagwatch starts tomorrow.

Much prefer rtd to af by the way - that will be my acronym of choice in the future grin

How did the scan go yesterday?

Lemonymuffinlady - how's the morning sickness?

Good that everything looks ok Lou. I'm sure 10dpo must be too early to see anything, surely???

Hello all, mind if I jump aboard officially on your new site?

I just caught up with all the highs and lows of the last thread, it was like a soap with lots of shagging, highs, lows and good news for some and some sad for others

... hugs to all....

Please forgive me not knowing whos who yet, but add me to the baby-making bingo hopeful list. DH just gave me a dab on the sofa before heading out. Spontaneous and quite exciting! Do I qualify?

Quick history.... Tried for 10 mnths for No.3, BFP april, then MMC in May, gutted and pissed off. Over 40 now and thought that was our last chance. Then found MN and all the great gals on here who've been through it all and it gave me support and the drive to go for it again.

So here I am shagging for England and hoping for a win!

Notheroldie shagging on the sofa !!!! wow your kinky.

Welcome and if you carry on with your sofa shannigans you will probably win shag watch, but Bicciboos dh sounds really competitive so maybe not.

Spotting has started so it will start in the next couple of days - probably Friday or Saturday. Tis crap.

Biccie what work do you do? Am an accountant and work from home so can find it hard to switch off mumsnet!

Oldie spontaneous sex. We are impressed. Fancy joining Shagwatch. Basically we compete to have the most sex. You might win if you have spontaneous sex.

Oh bugger louja my RTD always starts with spotting and i convince myself every month that it's the mythical implantation bleeding. every month.

I work for an international development charity as a major gifts fundraiser (rich people and trusts). Working from home means I have more time to mumsnet focus on detailed trust applications.

Report
Loujalou · 21/07/2010 11:07

Not convinced this month of implantation bleeding. Have had short periods before and convinced that is the very same.

Anyway I am lucky as the company I work for have offices in the City (of London) but I get to work from home. So not a bad deal. Specially as I now live just outside London. Biccie happy mumsnetting working.

Kids watching CBBc or some such, (I'm a caring mum) so chance to catch up.

After half hearted attempts at babymaking for 10 mths, after MMC decided to do the every 2 days thingy, and this is only second mth so still have the zest and excitement to bother!
I also found after my MMC I was horny as hell which was a bummer as I was still bleeding after ERPC but ready to go as soon as it stopped.
I feel the witch is looming and will be gutted cos we dun it lots this time!

So umbongo if you are still out there, have you let nature run its course? It didnt happen for me I ended up ERPC which was fine, over and done with in a day. Hope all has gone well. Be ready for possibly feeling horny/ sad/ hormonal/ and relieved all at the same time. HUGS

Yep, still out here in Limbo-land! No miscarriage yet.(what does MMC stand for by the way?) I have to go for scan on wed morning, so they will no doubt give me further options then. (what does erpc involve also please. Too new to this miscarriage business and don't want to learn!!!) I think now, I will be relieved when it finally happens, but don't remind me of that when I am on here moaning.

Thank you all for your support and hugs.

Sending you huge hugs missy. M in mmc is missed. Poor lia is more knowledgeable than me in this. Unfortunately for her. There is a Fred on here for people who have been through mc. So they might be able to help.

Am home alone with monkey tonight. He's sleeping so that's got to he a good thing.

hi everyone,

Am joining new Fred. (whatever happened to our weight loss fred? ) Eerrm, nothing.

Oh lou i am so sorry bloody spotting has started, my fingers were going blue with keeping them crossed

umbongo I had my latest mmc in Jan at ten and half wks, took me ages to get over it if I'm honest, don't rush yourself. That was my 4th, but I am currently 5wks +1 day pregnant, (tis important that one day) so please don't give up. I know I shouldn't be on this fred but i'm not leaving till we've all graduated, (you know who you are...)

How long is it since it was diagnosed, I had my erpc a week after they discovered the loss as my body obviously hadn't realised. It's completely shit and I really feel for you. The op itself is straightforward and you'll be in and out of theatre in an hour. Bleeding and discomfort afterwards varies, and depending how far along you were they might need to check hormone levels to make sure they have dropped.this can take a couple of weeks. You can take paracetamol, and stock up on towels as they don't advise tampons afterwards. Emotionally it'll probably be hard. You may have to sign a release form for the cremation of your little one. I didn't know this would happen and was completely shocked when I was given it.

Have a look at the recurrant mc thread, it's full of ladies who know how you feel and they are a fab bunch. xx

I have just started to feel nauseous and hungry so am please about that, I'm sure I won't be saying that in a couple of weeks but for now it's good to see.

Think I will have an early scan about 7 wks so then everything should be clear.

Kids break up tomorrow, hurray, I love holidays.

Have nice day everyone,

Umbongo my ERPC was a week after private scan, but just a day after scan at EPac. Nothing happened naturally for me. I was 10 wks but it was sac and no baby so my body hung on for ages. I didnt want the limbo state anymore, took advice from the lovely ladies on the miscarriage threads (way better than a counselling service!!) and had the ERPC. Very straight forward. Very little bleeding and no pain. Just knowing you are definitely not preg anymore was the hardest thing and of course wondering why your little bean didnt make it HUGS

Now can anyone remember how many ladies on here have won at Baby bingo so far??
Even if its only 5wks (and the very important day)!
As I read through the old fred very fast (cos I was gripped!! and thought it was coming to the max post end) I lost count!
I know there have been a few sad episodes But who from the starting line are the winners.. (so far)...
