Miscarriage in May, having very light period, could I be pregnant?

Hi,

I miscarried on 7 May & had a erpc, bled for another week. I had a normal period 32 days later (always about a week late), 2 weeks ago me & hubby started 'physical activities' again using protection but on one occasion we didn't - would love to try for baby again but scared of another mc. I have since spotted on 2 occasions last week, 1 brown, 1 red & it stopped as quick as it started. My period was due last wed (day 28) but as expected started yesterday, had the cramps yesterday but only very light brown bleed sometimes stopping completely. Negative hpt yesterday so am wondering if this light period is caused by hormones or if I could possibly be pregnant again. I would be
happy if I was. I have two children already. Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated xx

Hi funnytummymummy. Really sorry to hear about your loss. Don't want to scare you, but I had a very similar experience and following a D & C,had cramping and little / no proper bleeding and it turns out I had Asherman's Syndrome, which basically scarring of the uterus caused by the D & C / ERPC. It is rare, but unfortunately not rare enough.

Would suggest maybe having a look at the Asherman's Syndrome Organisation website and maybe visit your GP for some advice.

Good luck and hope it's just that your hormones are all a bit out of balance

Hi Helenlouisey, thanks I'll take a look at that website. I have already had a normal proper period since the erpc that's why am looking for answers really. Would probably expect it to be normal otherwise xx
