I have a feeling you've dreamt it. I always thought you're at your most fertile the 9-11th day after the first day of your period? Hope that helps a bit. I'm sure someone will put me right if I'm wrong

Most women are most fertile around the middle of their cycle, but this can vary.

you are at your most fertile on and around the day you ovulate. that could be anywhere in your cycle. all women are different and even all cycles can be different.

No you dreamt it OP. finecheese that is not necessarily right either. booyhoo has hit it right on the head. Read Taking Charge of Your Fertility!

I think - from what I've read i.e. every bloody book going - sperm can survive up to 6 days, but the egg perishes within 12-24 hours after ovulation.

Therefore, You are theoretically fertile up to 6 days prior to OV, and for up to a day after (or up to 36 hours after you first detect an LH surge with an OPK).

Or, if you're like me, you're NEVER BLOOMING WELL FERTILE.
