Oh dear I am so sorry but there is a problem with my chocolate fountain :-(

We finally unpacked it, in readiness to wow our friends in a 70s style, at a party tomorrow, and there is a bit missing.

Oh woe, what should I do?

It is the three tiers, ie the bit that the chocolate wells up in. Or not, in this case

Oh no.
I guess it'll be fruit and icecream then, chez Franny [make do and mend emoticon?]

Do you want to email me with more precise details and I will pass to the lovely people at Blueshoots who I"m sure will sort it very quickly?

I think I can still manage to melt a ton of chocolate for us to dip stuff in, it just won't gush elegantly in an impressive fashion

I am not sure I can be any more precise btw but I will email you, thanks Olivia

<swoon at HC's bi-curious toes>

The children ate all the strawberries

so I took a whole banana and the surplus chocolate from the bowl, and went off in a corner by myself in Pooh Bear style

that would have had your toes quivering HC

btw the kind of specialist melting chocolate you get for fondues is REALLY REALLY GOOD. You melt it and it stays runny virtually forever. It has a higher cocoa butter content so much softer and meltier, I highly recommend it.

After a certain 'anal' thread and the talk of watersports I misinterpreted your thread title

FrannyandZooey Wed 20-Jun-07 22:21:18

Olivia will never come and read this if we go all smutty again

FrannyandZooey Thu 21-Jun-07 14:25:43

they have sent me another one

I now have TWO chocolate fountains [queasy]

FrannyandZooey Thu 21-Jun-07 14:26:15

I wonder if I could put one on top of the other and get a kind of Niagara Falls effect?

OliviaMumsnet (MNHQ) Thu 21-Jun-07 15:36:24

That sounds like a lot of chocolate Franny. Enjoy
