I have just opened my last bottle, so by my count 5 bottles have lasted 6 months. unless this one has massive regenerating/filling powers 6 bottles is not going to last a year.

Just saying.

Oooooh glad it is not just me that was thinking that, we only have one bottle left too.

Ilythia Sat 18-Sep-10 15:12:19

Thanks jacqueline! Glad it isn't just me. I just think someone at Fairy should be made aware that their claims of it lasting soooo much longer certainly do not hold true here.... it lasts about the same as a slightly larger but half the price bottle of cheapy stuff....

Waitrose own is just as good

Ilythia Sat 18-Sep-10 15:20:38

Every bleeding time someone has to mention waitrose. We Dont Have One Here. the utter bastards so I wouldn't know.
I just buy the cheaparse stuff from poundstretcher tbh, gets the plates clean, what more do you need.

I was all ready to be wowed by fairy but...well...am distinctly not.

and what's up with your name?!grin

c0rns1lk Sat 18-Sep-10 15:35:54

hello ...... my Fairy Liquid has all gone sad
it definitely does not last as long as they expect it to

was there a feedback thread for it?

lisad123isgoingcrazy Sun 24-Oct-10 23:48:51

used my last drop this week too!! thought it was just me. Def not a years worth, think we should complain to MNHQ wink

AnnMumsnet (MNHQ) Mon 01-Nov-10 13:15:47

If you were one of the lucky MNers who won a years supply of Fairy back in February and you have found your supply has not lasted a year then the guys at Fairy say they are sorry your bottles haven’t lasted as long as expected, and are happy to send you more to see you through the year grin. Please send me a private message with your address and I will pass it on. MNHQ

Me! Me! <jumps up and down>

cyb Wed 03-Nov-10 17:13:18

I think wrapped up they would make a handy and practical Christmas present

JulesJules Wed 03-Nov-10 17:24:16

Oh yes ME ME. Lasted 5 months in this house, but then one did arrive broken.

jenniferturkington Thu 04-Nov-10 19:19:51

Mine never arrived at all sad

But I have since moved house, so the couple who moved in might have been merrily washing their plates with my Fairy...

FolornHope Thu 04-Nov-10 19:20:12

lol
it was AMAZINGLY sent by overnight delivery1

GrimmaTheNome Thu 04-Nov-10 19:21:52

I only just opened the first of mine - I had a nearly full bottle when they arrived and I've got a dishwasher so its only used for nonstick pans and the dog's bowls.

4andnotout Sat 06-Nov-10 09:19:11

Mine only lasted the six months too, I think there was a thread at the time about it.

JulesJules Mon 08-Nov-10 09:16:55

Overnight delivery, you say, FolornHope hmm

grin

Ilythia Tue 09-Nov-10 18:10:34

OOh, I didn't see this. Mine ran out about a month ago, have got through another bottle of cheapy stuff since then.
TBH I don't really want any more fairy, I've only just got the room back in my cupboard under the sink!
Just wanted to say, you know, 6 bottles is not a years supply....

4andnotout Fri 19-Nov-10 16:38:53

Has anyone received anymore yet?

JulesJules Fri 19-Nov-10 20:16:08

No, I haven't had anymore yet

4andnotout Fri 19-Nov-10 20:30:34

Phew thought it was just me, we are moving in a few weeks so hopefully it'll come before then.

lisad123isgoingcrazy Fri 19-Nov-10 20:33:05

nope not recieved my next lot ever, not impressed Fairy hmm

4andnotout Thu 25-Nov-10 13:23:40
