Small feet - HELP!!!!!

Ds has just had his feet measured for his 1st pair of shoes.

Clarks measured him at a 2.5 F! He's walking now so we really wanted shoes, cruisers if we really had to but they only have crawlers in his size.

The shop girl said there was a website that did shoes for small feet but didn't know what it was called!

Does anyone know where I can find shoes for little feet?

Is he walking much outside? If not I wouldn't worry about buying shoes until he is.

Otherwise you might find it hard to get proper shoes under a size 3 - all my girls started walking when they were only a size 2, and we could only buy shoes at an independent shoe store that stocked Ricosta and other European brands.

These start in a 2 and so do these

you could try

He will measure differently in different places.
DD's first pair of shoes were a start rite size 2E clarks couldn't fit her for a pair.
Try Start rite they are good and I prefer them to Clarks.

Like Squidge says though if he isn't walking outside much then I wouldn't worry too much at this stage anyway.

I have a dd with tiny narrow feet and a neice who is the same and would agree that Startritre tend to fit and Clarks just don't.

Do you have any specialist shops nearby - a lot of European shoes fit my dd quite well. They told me that they will not fit "walking" shoes until a child has been walking consistantly for at least 2 months.

Shoe shopping normally involves us trying to find the one pair of shoes in teh whole city that fits her!
