What do you think of Baltic Amber necklaces for teething babies? My frien put one on her baby and he has grown his first tooth with no discomfort at all!

Anyone has had other experiences with it, I might but it as if it doesen't work is still pretty for me ), but I'd like to know if it has worked for other people.

Necklaces never sensible option on babies imo.

Only the ones made by actual fairies work, make sure you get the right one...

I did think that MCTSA but if you look on the internet is full of websites that sell them with pics of babies wearing them!

Now I'm a sceptic normally and its taken me 4 babies to give in and put on the one I was given onto my son. He has teethed so easily. Now I know it may just be a fluke with him but to be honest I'm not taking it off to find out.
They have special catches that give way at a tug and each bead is individually tied so it it did snap then you dont get all the beads coming off

M2E, I seeeee

  1. Some babies teethe some teeth easily, whether they wear a necklace or not. My DS had his back teeth come in easily when he was wearing a yellow hat. I wish I'd known to put him in a yellow hat for his first teeth!

  1. You only need one bead to choke a baby.

Internet full of pictures of anything you can imagine, and some thing you would rather not. Don't base your decision on that, M2E.

As LLW says, one bead to choke a baby.

Also, Amber works on the rather dodgy premise that the body heats the beads allowing the healing oils to be absorbed through the skin.
This is obviously impossible, and the Amber would in fact have to be heated to an immense temperature before the oils could begin to melt.

Ok. Understood.

Its just that after a really bad colic I am so scared of endless crying... but I suppose it comes with the job!

Ime colic was so much worse than teething.
Very gracious reply, btw. And Eliane is a beautiful name
