What is this strange illness? Am sure its not the swine! WWYD?

DD got a temp on tuesday night and had it for 48 hours, when she was on calpol etc and temp under control was still playing. She has got a snotty nose but not overly, she also has not had much of an appetite.

Since the initial 48 hours temp it went down but shoots up again on an evening and stays at about 39 all night, then back to normal again in the morning. She still has a snotty nose but as i said not overly snotty.

Does this sound like Swine flu to you cos i am not convinced. And how long would you wait before a trip to gp if temp only going up from evening? Its very strange

could be mild swine fle, could be a virus. I guess wait a few days and phone NHS direct if she hasn't improved don't just turn up at the surgery with her though.
