Is this to do with being a growing child ? We've moved house, so dd's changed school, so could be stress of all that maybe ? Has anyone else had a tired all the time child then they've grown out of it ?

just a thought but maybe iron deficiency? Haliborange do a chewable vitamin with iron and since my DS has been taking them (I started him on them as I was concerned about lack of red meat in his diet)he has been a lot perkier...

tomps~ during the week school is tiring but if it is at weekends and all the time take her to the GP for a height and weight check, urine check etc for basic health screening.
Tell the GP the problem and maybe set a time in the future like 4 to 6 weeks beyond which if she is still very tired you go back to see if there is any other problem.

My ds has now been diagnosed with M.E and he had several oither symptoms spanning over a long period of time.

Generally TATT if serious is accompanied with other issues - frequent need to urinate, depression etc etc.

Is she bruising easily,becoming breathless?

Sept is always a tiring month for dc and at 7 she will also be having a growth sputy I think she may also have gone into the 'junior' part of school where work becomes harder and less play.

I can only advise that you see your G.P and as suggested set a time limit, dose her up with a child tonic a healthy diet including lots of leafy green veg and give her plenty of fresh air and equal measures of rest.

Thank you. No, no other symptoms and dd very active usually. Tiredness especially an issue when any school work/homework to be done so may be more of an excuse. Have started multivit anyway. Green leafy veg ?!!! I love em but sadly not dd yet. Not easy to hide in things either, but I will persevere.
