What's the scene with chicken pox? Do you keep them off school and for how long etc etc

until all the spots have scabbed and come off. use poxclin from boots it's really good. helps them heal well and stops them scratching.

they are normally ok around 1 week from when the spots appear. We used piriton for the itching and bicarb of soda in the bath.

God, do you have to stay at home with them for that long then, away from others?? I'll go nuts.

DD1 just had it - about 6-7 days til back at school (looked awful still but all scabbed over)

stay away from others for at least 5 days , then only back to school if all spots scabbed and dry.
