until all the spots have scabbed and come off. use poxclin from boots it's really good. helps them heal well and stops them scratching.

Thanks.
God, how long does that take??

they are normally ok around 1 week from when the spots appear. We used piriton for the itching and bicarb of soda in the bath.

God, do you have to stay at home with them for that long then, away from others?? I'll go nuts.

stay away from others for at least 5 days , then only back to school if all spots scabbed and dry.
