DD (9m) very bunged up with cough - should I still try settling session at CM tomorrow

DD has had a nasty phlegmy cough the last few days - she's better during the day (has lost the horrible rattle when she breathes) and is quite happy but is a bit more clingy than usual and is a ball of unhappy phlegm at night (took and hour of feeding to get her to sleep tonight)

Am trying to settle her in to new CM (back to work in two weeks) and she's due for a few hours tomorrow (11-2 to take in lunch for the first time there). She's had two sessions of an hour already. CM will have about six other children there ranging in age from 3 to 11 so it's quite full on but the kids are great with dd.

Should I take her? Obviously I'd check it was ok with CM first. Or should I keep her here for another day and try on Wed - or keep her off until she is completely better in case she has a bad time because she's ill or picks something else up?

Forgot to say she hasn't had a raised temperature.

I personally wouldn't. Partly because sick babies really do need their mummies ...but also because it's not really fair on the other children or the childminder to spread coughy germs about.

Thanks kitten - we actually had an awful night - she couldn't sleep because she was so bunged up - so we'll spend a day at home today trying to catch up on some sleep!
