What on earth is causing this?! It seems her orangey coloured poops are staining the skin around her bottom orange.

She is 6 months old and the only thing I have done differently this week is introduce chicken and lentils to her weaning regime.

I might add that she has been generally unwell this week with a runny nose and noisy. productive cough. I initially put the nappy rash down to teething as she has been dribbling and chewing for England.

Any ideas guys??

Has she had other legumes before? A reaction to lentils isn't unheard of although not exactly common in the UK. According to one online source 50% of those with a lentil allergy also react to chickpeas and peas (but then of course that means that 50% don't...)

I'd be inclined to back off with the lentils, see whether matters improve, then try reintroducing when she seems less unwell and seeing if there's any reaction. If there is then you have your answer.

She has had peas but is not overly keen on them. Tbh its really hard telling what upsets her ? she already has a milk allergy and I have had to go dairy free since she was born because she even reacts to it in my milk. If I eat eggs she goes bananas too.
