Blotchy rash on 10.5 month old

DD has a blotchy rash on her face. It started yesterday and today has spread to arms and legs.
It is not a heat rash and she does not seem bothered by it - no scratching etc.

She had a temperature on Wednesday and Thursday, saw the Dr on Friday and paracetamol brought it down - so perhaps it is related to that.

My only other thoughts were perhaps an allergic reaction to a flea or bug bite - I noticed one on her arm on Friday.

She has had no contact with other children Tuesday - so not sure if it is something contagious.

Should there be anything else I should look out for or is there anything else it could be?

If it is still there tomorrow I am taking her to the Dr.

It is highly unlikely that this is swine flu.

Hi Steaky - could be post viral rash as DS got this after his throat infection and high temperature doc said nothing to worry about.

He also got hives after his ingrowing toenail was treated with antibiotic cream - have you given her anything different food or medicine wise?

Oh forgot to say only thing he recommended if it was itching was calamine lotion.

I spent lots of time looking up random rashes on google but in the end took DS to the docs just to be sure! I hadn't been for at least a week so he was only to pleased to see me

Thanks. It has calmed down today so dr might be a wasted trip.
