Disenchanted3 Wed 15-Jul-09 03:40:29

Hopefully they will answer hold soon. Am here. <virtual hand holds>

You say hes coughing - assume breathing ok? (if not obviously hang up and 999)

Any underlying health probs?

38.1 is high but could be worse. Is he out of bed? What age?

Disenchanted3 Wed 15-Jul-09 03:44:43

We have NHS24, its slightly different. How does NHS direct work? Have you spoken to a triage type person?

How are you all today ?

Disenchanted3 Wed 15-Jul-09 12:09:58

Hiya,

out of hours GP rang, by that time calpol had brought temp down to 37, he was drinking, laughing etc,

so just put him back to bed and kept an eye on temp.

This morning he seems fine again, but thats like yesterday, at night he gets bad.

Am getting tamiflu delivered.

Thanks for last night giraffe!
