Baby's first jabs: Can diarrhoea be a side effect?

DD2 had her first round of jabs yesterday. She was fine really, but did have diarrhoea - 5 dirty nappies in the space of 12 hours. Could this be a side effect, or is it just coincidence?

Never heard of diarrhoea being a side effect but DD2 did get vomitting after her first jabs.

My dd had a bit of a reaction to her first jabs - slept for about five hours, then woke up screaming for two hours in which she pooed and pooed and pooed - lots of diarrhoea, then threw up everywhere (her leg swelled as well - wasn't a fun day but of course she was fine and smiling by the time we got her back to the docs hmm)

If you're worried just double check with the surgery nurse - they'll soon have you back in there if it doesn't sound right...

Nurse says it's unlikely to be a side effect hmm but to come in and do a sample.

How did you get on Schulte?

No news yet - thanks for asking. Sent in a sample and we should get the results later today, or tomorrow. DD2 is still pooing all the time so I am taking her to the doc's this morning. The colour and consistency have changed though and it looks more like normal poo so hope that's a good sign.
