Doctor calling me back with a time as the spots don't go when I do the glass test.

McDreamy Wed 08-Jul-09 16:20:41

Oh bugger! sad <grabs Fab's other hand> sad

FabBakerGirlIsBack Wed 08-Jul-09 16:21:13

thank you

<trying to stay calm> will be a virus, yes???

Pinkjenny Wed 08-Jul-09 16:22:41

We have taken dd to A&E (not recently) three times with rashes. All of them were viral. Don't panic until you know you need to.

<hopes doctor gets a move on>

FabBakerGirlIsBack Wed 08-Jul-09 16:23:24

not rung yet

McDreamy Wed 08-Jul-09 16:24:40

It's a virus until told otherwise. As Pink says panic not until you need to. Right now you don't need to. Will stay close by and hand hold!

C'mon that phone - ring!

bumpybecky Wed 08-Jul-09 16:26:14

<holds foot as no hands left>

hope all is ok

FabBakerGirlIsBack Wed 08-Jul-09 16:30:45

my day has been hard

cried when ds2 went to story time as he starts school in sept
fell in playground and have ripped my fave black trousers and hurt my arms and knees
had no credit on my phone so had to borrow a phone to ring the go - no appts left and then almost forgot to pick up ds1

i am crap at not panicking but it is my first born and i have secret worries about him so when he is ill i get scared

no phone call yet

why aren't they ringing

FabBakerGirlIsBack Wed 08-Jul-09 16:32:54

going straight down now

Pinkjenny Wed 08-Jul-09 16:35:26

Will keep everything crossed for you.

Numberfour Wed 08-Jul-09 17:45:07

let us know how you got on.

FabBakerGirlIsBack Wed 08-Jul-09 17:51:04

We are back.

Feel completely aaaaaaaaargggggghhhhhh

DS2 wouldn't stop mithering me, DS1 perks up after I had plucked him boiling from his bed, all sleepy and floppy and is especially pleased that the doc says no school for the rest of the week, and then I realise he has been having baby calpol instead of six plus for the last 2 years.

So stressed with DS2 misbehaving I can't remember what the doc said. I think he said he has a viral infection.

Come home, DS2 left the chair behind the door, DD pushes the door into me, I push it open and the handle hits her in the face so she now has a fabulous bruise.

DH can't work from home as the auditors are in, DD can't go to a party tmw and I think our weekend away without kids will have to be cancelled.

DS1 finally eating something and has just had plain rice and is now eating crisps.

Next time he has spots I am staying at home.

FabBakerGirlIsBack Wed 08-Jul-09 17:59:32

DS1 is desperate to go to school tmw.

He wants 100% attendance and to finish what he is doing at school.

McDreamy Wed 08-Jul-09 18:03:13

Thank goodness! You have had a superbly crap day! Do you have a bottle of wine in the house? I think you deserve a glass.

EccentricaGallumbits Wed 08-Jul-09 18:06:08

You are going to need a large glass tonight. Any chance yopu could shuffle them off to bed a bit early so you can relax a bit?

Numberfour Wed 08-Jul-09 18:07:32

what a day! why not wait til tomorrow morning to decide about DS1 going to school?

FabBakerGirlIsBack Wed 08-Jul-09 18:17:05

Dh thinks he will be well enough to go but don't I have to do what the Doc said?

I ache like mad (see my staying up all night thread) as a result of my fall at school and I could cry with it all.

FabBakerGirlIsBack Wed 08-Jul-09 18:18:43

I'm not having any wine as I think it won't have a good effect. Bought some chocs for the lady who lent me her phone and grabbed a bar of G&B for me so have been nibbling on that.

FabBakerGirlIsBack Wed 08-Jul-09 21:33:49

Should I send him to school tmw if he seems himself? DH thinks so, and he seemed better this evening.

FabBakerGirlIsBack Thu 09-Jul-09 15:39:41

He decided to keep him off.

He is talking really funny and I think he has tonsilitis again..

Bang goes our anniversary weekend away. sad
