green / grey nappies in four week old?

hello,
the health visitor says this is probably just too much foremilk but i'm not convinced - 4 week old dc2 has had green / grey stuff in his nappy for a few days now - smells really bad too!
baby otherwise seems okay, not being sick, eating and sleeping fine.
dc1 (2yo) had a sickness bug last week - could it be this, or is there something else that i should look out for / worry about?
am breast and bottle feeding, have been since birth.
any suggestions / advice much appreciated.
thank you!

It could be diarrhea, ime, or it could just be that baby's normal colour for now. Nothing you can do but keep feeding on demand (especially the breastfeeding), as long as nappies are plenty wet I would expect baby to get better on their own.

Gray is odd, though, I must confess, I've never had 'gray'. Could it be undigested milk? That's what DC3's nappies were like when he was little and had diarrhea.

The 'too much foremilk' thing can be blamed for greenish stuff in nappies sometimes - but often comes with lots of gas too. The smell thing makes me think there is something else going on though. Have no experience of mixed feeding so can't help much but would keep an eye out for other signs of unwellness personally. Still plenty of wet nappies..?

yeah, plenty of wet nappies - just the dirty ones that seem a bit odd.
thanks for your responses.
