Do you use flouride toothpaste or flouride free one for your chidlren? I have been using organic one without flouride for my DS (18 montsh old) but recently we have been advised by a dentist to use floride ones. She also said we should chose one containing maximum 500 ppm flouride.
I am quite confused here, as I haven't been able to find a toothpaste with 500 ppm floride except from the colgate ones which also contain SLS (sodium laureth sulphate) and as you know it is not very good thing to give SLS to your baby. We have been trying to avoid SLS even in shampoos and soaps now we may have to use it orally in toothpaste. This is very annoyying for me really.
Does anybody know a more natural toothpaste with floride? At least an SLS and paraben free one?
