ds2 (10 months) was fine all day yesterday...

At about 9 though, he started to get very unsettled, I kept having to go back to settle him. When I went to bed, he got worse and was crying a lot and obv in some pain. I put him into ed with me and he would settle only if lying on his tummy, he went crazy if he was on his back and also would be held.

This went on for several hours with a pattern of him sleeping for a while and then being in pain and crying. It was like he was trying to push something out. Eventually, he did a poo and then settled down and was able to have some milk and then sleep next to me for a couple of hours.

This morning he is his usual bright sunny self. He has had some breakfast and has eaten it apart from bringing just a little bit back up which is unusual for him.

I will keep a watch on him today. Does it sound like he was constipated to you in the night? I thoight he may have swallowed something from DS1 but he did settle down after he had a poo.....(he did swallow a sticker last week but was able to cough it up). Thinking about yesterdays food, he had tomato sauce on his pasta at lunch which was something new for him....

If it was constipation, does anyone have any tips on what I should feed him today?

thanks

he has had a poo this morning and didn't seem to be in any discomfort...

He has a terrible nappy rash all of a sudden...the skin is starting to come of his bottom poor little thing....

He had this just before his bottom teeth came through and it does look as if the top ones are about to break...do you think last night could be to do with teething? Can babies get condtipated when they are teething?

Thanks
