as far as I was aware, thrush comes from changes in the acidity of your vagina, so just because you have that would not neccessarily mean that she would IYGWIM.

I would think it far more likely that it is worms, and maybe, that you have them too and yours was not thrush. did you know that if we get worms badly enough they can get into our vagina's??

Thanks for that lovely thought psycho,
I had severe burning and swelling though that is not worms. Trying to work out which would be worse worms in my fanny or thrush, I think the worms

just managed to find this....

"Threadworms are known to cause intense itching around your anus. In girls, vaginal itching can also occur. The itching is particularly intense at night, when the female worms are active laying their eggs. This may cause you to experience a loss of sleep and make you irritable."

it doesn;t say that worms can cause thrush, but it can cause vaginal irritation, so IMO, I reckon that it can be confused with thrush.

will take a threadworm medication although I feel better after using canestan. But if dd has threadworm we all have to take it anyway don;t we.

ahhh......no worries then. am guessing that school would be where she got ot from and all her classmates would have shown signs and also been treated about now anyway then.

how come she has another week off??
