DD2 is 1 years old and been a bit off colour for a few days. Yesterday noticed her stolls were paler than normal, but getting worse today. She quite grumpy today and BFing more and not eating much. Anyone know what it could be?? TIA

I would give NHS direct a call, is she jaundiced?

DD was like this the other day, very pale stools and quite grumpy. I figured it was a bit of a virus mixed with teething. It cleared up in a day or so.

She has always had a little yellow tint to her skin but put that down to DH skin colouring

I read the bit I could see from outside and thought "is she breastfeeding?" I've noticed that if Tink is eating much and breastfeeds more her pooh goes pale, it's just going back to breastfed pooh.

What about her eyes? Are they whit or yellow?

eyes are white.

That's good. Maybe it is because of the breast milk but I would still contact NHS direct, pale poo can be an indication of a liver problem so it should be ruled out completely. A doctor should check her over, especially as she is unwell.

sad poor thing. I hope she's feeling better soon.

Hope she's feeling better soon. I hope you know I wasn't trying to suggest there was nothing wrong with her, just that her pooh was the difference between mainly solids pooh and mainly breastfed pooh so not to worry that was odd it was the unwell bit that was more important.
