Do I really need to worry about this as she seems absolutely fine (hence having not taken her to HV for ages!)?

She is 15lb and 59cm, plenty of chub all over her body and is hitting all developmental milestones, she rolls, crawls (backwards mainly!), has been sitting unaided for ages, she eats well both food and milk and she is FF so I know she is getting enough.

My instincts say she is fine but should I be worrying/getting her to a paediatrician? Lots of people say about how small she is but I just always thought she was petite. Please help!

If she's gaining weight and is happy and feeding well, don't worry. My two both dropped to the 2nd then went back up again.

Some babies are naturally small. DS one was a tiddler but now he's above average height (he's 6)

That's good to hear Lyra. I expect DD will be like that as her Dad and I could NEVER be described as petite! Looking through the archives it seems that many babies settle on there centile between 12 and 26 weeks.

I will prob take her to baby clinic next week I just don't want them making a huge drama out of it!
