Mumsnetters aren't necessarily qualified to help if your child is unwell. If you have any serious medical concerns, we would urge you to consult your GP.
He had them about 5 or 6 weeks ago and I've been using this cream on the ones in the middle of his forehead (scars) and they seem to be diminishing. It's call Thuja cream. Got it at health food store. She said you should try to put it on as soon after the cp as possible but it would still help older scars, just not as much.
Thankfully DS has never had CP, but will remember it for future reference.
Napier's the Chemists Infant Starflower Creme for those of you in Scotland/the UK is the bee's knees.
Does it work on all scars? How about stretchmarks? [ravaged]
oh yes, she said that women use it for stretchmarks as well.
this is the stuff. Doesn't mention stretchmarks though. Girl said lots of women use it for that though.
