Extremely late teether but finally teeth coming out wonky?!

DS2 is almost 16 months and no teeth at all until now, I can finally see one of his canines erupting which is odd but ok. My DS1 was a late teether too and got his first tooth at 15 months and in strange order but now at 6 yr old has lovely bunch of teeth.

But the thing that's worrying me with DS2 is that now I can see a lower incisor trying to come out but it's not coming straight up above the gums, it's sort of coming out the back of the gums at an angle?!?? What can this mean? Is he going to have crooked tooth including his adult teeth?!
He has mild plagiocephaly as well for which he's seeing an osteopath, could that be a reason? I've read that after a while the gums get too hard and the teeth struggle to come out?
