Hi, hoping someone can help me. For the last few months my 4 year old daughter has been biting and picking her nails. I think it's often a subconscious thing as I've spotted her doing it when she watches TV and have prompted her to stop. I've tried to get to the bottom of it as I'm worried it's a sign of stress or anxiety, but she says she does it when she's happy. I'm worried she's going to get infections at this rate. Can anyone advise if they've had similar issues in their children? I'm looking at fidget type toys but hard yo know what would be good plus I'd need her to be able to bring it to school. She's an otherwise really healthy, happy wee thing so I feel sad that she's developed this habit. Thanks.
