Here at North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (NEECCG), we're asking for your views on support services for children with special educational needs and disability (SEND) in the Colchester and Tendring area (Essex).

We'd like to hear what services for children with SEND work well, what you feel could be improved, and any other comments about this topic that you would like to share with us. We are also keen to hear about any groups that you would like our commissioners to attend in order to engage with your members.

We look forward to hearing from you. If you would like to send this feedback separately from this forum, you can do so via [email protected].

not in your area, but getting a diagnosis in the time that is recommended by nice would be amazing. and about two years shorter than here and elsewhere

I have appreciated the courses our local authority has run on autism. 4-5 weeks so you get to know the trainers and group.

one off courses are good too.

courses at different times are helpful for those parents who have different work/childcare needs

courses that run in local areas and are accessible by bus and car. (have to give a non driving friend a lift to our authorities courses)
