Calpol

The shop only had +6 calpol. I'm not a pharmacist but ...

+6 calpol is 250mg per 5ml
Infant is 120mg per 5ml

She normally has 5ml of the infant calpol so she can have 2.5ml of the +6 calpol because that'd be 125mg??

Also... wouldn't that be a cheaper way to buy calpol??

Technically 120mg would be 2.4mls of the 6plus but 2.5mls will be fine! It's easier to make mistakes drawing small amounts in the higher concentrations so that's why there's the 2. As long as you're careful not to give to much it's fine to use the 6 plus though.

Ah, that makes sense... 2.5ml is fairly easy to draw up and she's getting closer to 2 now. I might stick to the +6.
