Chicken pox!!

eldest child is 6 and just getting over chicken pox. It's been just over week now and they are crusted so think it's ok to go out about.
Baby is 8 weeks and not showing any signs yet and mixed opinions on if will get them as bf.
Can we go out!? Would you? We are desparat to go out but I know that there's a good chance baby is carrying the germs and will develop them. But we can't stay in for 2 more weeks! Can we? I don't want to risk other people's health.
Husband works away and not from U.K. So no family to take them out separate.
