Positional talipes and problems at older age

My DD (9) was quite a long baby weighing 8lb9oz. She was born with positional talipes. She had physio on her feet till she was around 10 months old and standing.

She joined an athletics club last April and loves it but says her ankles hurt. She warms up correctly and even does extra stretches at home.

Could these problems with her feet/ankles be down to having talipes when she was younger?

My ds is 9 and was born with both club feet. 3 gruelling years of treatment, he plays football regularly and has never complained of any problems. Maybe see your specialist.
