So I called up 111 about spots all over my daughter took her to chemist and they said it's not chicken pox looks like a fungal infection so I call 111 now it's been over 3 hours since my call and no one has phoned me back do I just wait it out or call back again...note I already called back before the 2 hours they first said they would call...she's not feeling really poorly just itching like mad...they not bits as they too far spread and pharmacist confirmed they wasn't bites either...in two minds as it's getting late but I know kids can deteriorate really quickly
Thanks for reading 😊

I wouldn’t call back again. If she’s well in herself, normal temperature, alert etc then I’d put whatever you have to hand on her to try and soothe the itching and get a Gp appt tommorrow

My two year old is NEVER ill and has slept through the night for last year. Last two nights he’s woke on a few occasions and tonight he feels ROASTING hot all over his body from head to feet. Got Calpol and took his temp but it’s sitting normal at 37.7. He didn’t seem overly fussed and we took his vest/PJ trousers off and changed his sleep bag from higher tog to lower. His room temp is 19 which is kinda usual for our house. Just wondering why he feels roasting but it isn’t showing on thermometer? It’s a brand new one so don’t think it’s faulty. I know I sound over anxious but he’s honestly never ill so haven’t dealt with this before! He’s went back to bed no problem but now I can’t sleep! No other noticeable symptoms apart from a bit of a snuffle maybe?Has all his teeth except a few big molars I think. This has probably been a really pointless thread with obvious answer but at this time of the day (with an 8week old too) my brain isn’t functioning very well!

Couldn't get an appointment so see another pharmacist been told it's chicken pox but been 24 hours and hasn't blistered is that normal or is it not chicken pox? 🙄
