Growing pains

Has anyone had experience of growing pains. My daughter is 3.4 and at least 2 days a week sobs that her leg hurts, it's always her right calf muscle that seems to bother her. Any tips, I'm a little concerned as most things I've read say it should be in both legs. She really hates going to gp so don't want to take her unnecessarily

take her if it doesn't go away in the next couple of days.

leg pain without obvious reason (unusual amounts of exercise, sprain, etc) especially if one sided should be investigated.

is the leg swollen?
any redness?
any other illness/fever?
