I have just found out my son is anaemic, is this something he can grow out of? Has anyone any advice?

How old is he? What is the suggested cause? Has he had any other tests done?

My DD was severely anaemia at 16mo from breastfeeding too much, too often and not eating enough iron rich solids. Three months of iron supplements sorted it out and she has tested in the normal range ever since, she's 6yo now.

Hi, he is 3 years old. We are waiting on iron results coming back they think that is what has caused it, he is a very picky 3 year old so going to have to bribe him into new eating habits!!

He has a limp as well but they are putting it down to irritable hip after a throat infection a few weeks ago.

Glad your daughter is doing well now.
