Temperature, dizziness and now rash on face (with pic)

Can anyone help diagnose 8 yo ds? Since yesterday he's been quite lethargic and saying his head is heavy. He's had a sleep this afternoon which is unheard of. I've just come to check on him as he's been having a rest and he's developed a rough feeling red rash on his cheeks. Pic included. I'm sure he's had something like this before and it was slapped cheek iirc? I've also felt very odd today but no rash. Just very sleepy and drowsy, dizzy and almost dehydrated-feeling although I know I'm not.

Scarlet fever is quite rife at the minute. Which is a rash like sunburn and quite rough. It does spread apparently. Google pics and see if the rash is like your DS's?
