Hi guys
My 11 month old has never been a big baby and has always been just below the 50th percentile. I weighed her just after 9 months and she was 18lbs, i weighed her today and she is 17lbs 8oz at 49weeks old (3 weeks short of 1 year old!). This now puts her between the 9th and 25th percentile - she is still wearing 6-9month old clothes Confused.
She is active such as crawling and bum shuffling (preferred choice for getting about) and furniture walking, and she is CMPI so has never really been a big milk drinker only has about 6ozs a day but she does eat ALOT Grin.

Has anyone had a similar experience with their lo? Could there be something medically wrong?

I do plan to ring the HVs tomorrow to see if its something to worry about but as they are now closed im sat here panicking! Shock please help to put my mind at ease! X

I was told it was normal when they became mobile - DD finally crawled at a year, and didn't put on anything between 12 and 15 months, absolutely nothing, though to be fair, she'd got quite big before she crawled. Do talk to your HV, but mine wasn't at all worried.

My DS is 2.5yo and he has been the same weight and probably height too since he was 12 months old. He is actually still wearing 12 months size clothes. I am quite worried too. He eats quite well, eats almost anything, and happily eats pasta, rice, noodles, chicken, beef, eggs, tofu, cheese, yoghurts, lots of fruit, some veggies, and is super active, can't sit still for one minute. He was fully bf but I have recently started him on formula a couple of weeks ago with his paed's ok. I really hope he starts gaining some weight soon!!!

9th -25th isn't small - it's definitely a very normal weight.

You need to up her milk intake to put on calories. Give her formula in a sippy cup rather than water at meals.

Sorry for not responding we have been enjoying the lovely weather! I havent got in touch with hv as SUNSHINE says i dont think they would be too concerned. LG just doesnt like drinking the milk but she does have it in foods so not concerned about that. I think im best keeping an eye on it and making sure she doesnt drop anymore really. Thanks for your experience FERNZ sounds like my lo will be similar to yours.
